Financial Aid

Refugees in Poland are allowed additional financial help from ONZ- the UN refugee agency.  ONZ has started a cash assistance programme for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, they can get about 150  Euros monthly per person for at least 3 months from the UN. They have only to contact their bureau in Warsaw. Their webpage is in English, Ukrainian and Polish.   We are not sure about other ONZ countries, but they have their own local bureau for refugees so you all can check in your countries as well.  Here's the link for Poland: (look for "cash assistance").

There is a similar scheme in Germany. Here are the details.

Job Schemes

From Adecco

"For more than a decade, we have worked to enable people displaced by conflict to re-enter the world of work in their host countries.

We are now leveraging this experience, combined with our core business knowledge and scale, to help support people from Ukraine in the context of the current crisis.

We have launched a global jobs platform dedicated to assisting displaced people from #Ukraine to find work in the countries where they have taken refuge. It’s a free-to-post platform open to refugee candidates and companies everywhere.

Finding work and meaningful employment is critical to enabling refugees secure financial stability, and underpins their ability to begin new lives and secure futures.

I would like to personally invite organisations across Europe and beyond to join us in this initiative by posting their open roles and offering opportunities to people from Ukraine as they begin to re-establish their lives in neighbouring countries.

Together let’s make a difference - let’s make the future work for everyone."
